Inspection of Govt. Offices Records

Inspection of Government Offices Record & Survey of Private record :
The department inspects the record of the State Government Department and Survey Private Collections also. It advise them about proper record management techniques and scientific methods of Record Preservation. Inspection of record room is carried out to ensure whether the record which is being kept in record room are in healthy state or need some treatment. After inspection a comprehensive report in which methods of records management, conservation and other suggestion are sent to the concern department for compliance. Earlier up to 2007-08 only 60 record room were inspected yearly by archives department but keeping in mind to develop awareness to record. 250 or more record rooms are being inspected by department at district level and sub division, Tahsil level.
